After working at a C-Level in almost every capacity in Substance Use Treatment facilities, from small, one location operations to multi-location / multi-state conglomerates, founder and CEO, Renee Douthat observed the way compliance was managed, as well as the way necessary day to day tasks were handled were costly, inefficient and left a lot of room for missed renewals, audits, and inspections. In addition, with very limited or no reporting availability, it made quantifying and aggregating information to track performance nearly impossible.
In an effort to make her job easier, she started researching software solutions, that would help make sure her team knew what they needed to be doing, and give her the oversight to make sure her staff was on top of their responsibilities. This type of solution existed in almost every other highly regulated industry like Banking, Financial, Construction and Insurance, but nothing like this existed in the Behavioral Healthcare field.
Renee decided to create a solution to this problem, so she built a team, used her knowledge and experience relating to Compliance, her network of professionals, and the systems she’d created over the years to initiate Hatch Compliance.
Hatch is now used by Behavioral Healthcare facilities across the country to improve operational efficiency, improve compliance and save money.
